I’m so tired of these ngmi people reaching out to acquire my upcoming games they all have the exact same pitch “we are blah blah shitudio" "we’re interested in your game" "we can do this, we can do that” NGMI you can’t do shit you ask for the fucking stats of a brand-new game stats are completely irrelevant at this stage (new games) you either see the potential by playing it, or you don’t there are no stats that would convince me to buy a game I don’t like or don’t see potential in and there are no stats that would dissuade me from wanting to buy a game I do like and I do see potential in statistics are relevant for established games If I wanted to acquire Grow a Garden I would definitely dive deep into all the metrics and statistics but if I see an upcoming game and I like it I wouldn’t give a shit about anything in the creator dashboard the only message I’d send the owner would be: Hi, I want to buy your game $10,000? This actually just happened to me (I won’t leak the dev) Let’s say you paid 30,000 Robux up front for a map to a “6 year experience” dev after sending concepts to them and them confirming that they can do it.. After 2 weeks they deliver super low quality work that other devs also agree is low effort. The dev is asking for what to add to it but you’re not a map designer, thats why you paid, sent concepts and spent hours explaining what you wanted. You relied on them to make happen After mentioning being disappointed with the result, they threaten to give it to you “as is”. What would you do? #RobloxDev #Roblox #RbxDev
