@nationalrailenq I need to travel MKC->LEU on 06/07/25. There's engineering between CAR and EDB, but this train (screenshot) changes at BHM then goes up the East coast. Is the outward part of an off-peak return MKC->LEU valid on this service?

@nationalrailenq Hi, I haven't got the ticket yet - I'm trying to establish validity before I purchase. At present, CrossCountry will sell me the attached, but it doesn't list any trains before 14:19 as valid (and the trains it lists are much slower).

After I & also Cllr Billy Stanier called for a rethink in parking charges as elderly churchgoers park in Market Square,Winslow,the cost of parking between 7am & 7pm on Sundays has been reduced by ⁦to 70p from this Sunday. Thanks for listening ⁦@BucksCouncil⁩

Yup. Brexit was a profoundly anti-business move as it cut away our businesses from their home market, cut talent flows, and then dumped new red tape on them out of ideology. Labour now gets to be the party of business, but not if they are pro-Brexit.

@DuncanFisher @mikegalsworthy Interestingly, I think their "Pro Brexit" stance (which really mean "not pro-rejoin") is pro-voters, simply because the electorate apparently wanted Brexit. It's still a febrile issue and it would be political suicide to reopen that can of worms.

@DensityPoint Also, in order to access them at all, you need to enable "third party cookies" for all sites. Security issue much.

Who remembers when you opened payslips by carefully tearing off the edges? Today, I was sent a video explaining how to access my (electronic) payslip, with troubleshooting tips when it doesn't work. This is not progress.
