In advance of our next #LeadersGC chat @TwitterSpaces chat tomorrow, here is little about Roy Nader (@ClicksandTips): Roy joined the government in the region of BC in 2005. Roy realized the need for digital upskilling of government employees in 2011. Thus, he initiated “Clicks and Tips”, a bilingual GoC community of practice that expanded to over 13,000 members from 93 GoC departments across Canada. Through storytelling and strategic engagement, Roy demonstrated better ways to leverage new and existing tools to improve processes and divert resources from clerical workflow to strategy. Roy delivered over 100 successful webinars, and some reached over 1000 participants as early as 2015. He trained over 10,000 Government of Canada employees on OneNote, 5000+ on GCTools and 5000+ on Webex and several other platforms. In January 2020, he was recruited to join PSPC Digital Transformation Team in the NCR, as “Change Management and Engagement Manager”.   In August 2021, Roy joined ESDC to lead the People Pillar portfolio part of the Digital Workplace Taskforce. He started the DWT Digital Booster sessions to help empower and inspire employees to work in new ways. The sessions are averaging over 1000 participants. They are also helping ESDC achieve key priorities from Accessibility, IM, Data, Digital Culture and more. If Roy is not learning something new, you will find him volunteering to help or traveling with his family. -------------------------------------- Roy s’est joint au government dans la région de la Colombie-Britannique en 2005. En 2011, Roy a pris conscience de la nécessité d’améliorer les compétences numérique des fonctionnaires. Ainsi, il a lancé « Clics et conseils », une communauté de pratique bilingue du gouvernement du Canada qui compte aujourd'hui plus de 13 000 membres issus de 93 ministères. À travers la narration et l’engagement stratégique, Roy a démontré de meilleures façons de tirer parti des outils à la fois nouveaux et actuels pour améliorer les processus et donner l’occasion au personnel de réorienter les ressources du travail administratif pour qu'il soit davantage stratégique. Roy a offert plus de 100 webinaires fructueux, dont certains ayant atteint plus de 1000 participants, et ce depuis 2015. Il a formé plus de 10 000 employés du gouvernement du Canada sur OneNote, plus de 5000 sur GCTools, plus de 5000 sur WebEx et plusieurs autres plateformes. En janvier 2020, il a été recruté pour se joindre à l’équipe de transformation numérique du SPAC dans la RCN, à titre de « gestionnaire de la gestion du changement et de l’engagement ».   En août 2021, Roy s’est joint à EDSC pour diriger le volet du pilier "personnes” au sein de l'Opération milieu de travail numérique. Il a initié les sessions Booster numérique de l’OMTN afin de donner aux employés les moyens et l'inspiration nécessaires pour adopter de nouvelles méthodes de travail. Les sessions comptent en moyenne 1000 participants. Ils aident également EDSC à réaliser ses priorités clés telles que l’accessibilité, la gestion de l’information, le traitement de données, la culture numérique et plus encore.
