On March 24, 2026, 35-year-old Todd John Lewis appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged with unlawfully at large and obstruction of a peace officer. He was remanded into custody until his next court appearance scheduled for March 31, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

On March 21, a member of the #RCMPNBTrafficUnitstopped a vehicle for travelling 177 km/hr in a 110 km/hr zone on Route 2 near Saint-Léonard-Parent. A $604.50 fine was issued to the driver, and the vehicle was towed and impounded at the owner’s expense. #Slowdown

Last night, a member of the Caledonia Region RCMP stopped this vehicle for travelling 206 km/hr in a 110 km/hr zone on Highway 2 near Salisbury. A $1204.50 fine was issued to the driver, and the vehicle was towed and impounded at the owner’s expense.
