Outside of the one seeds, I think Purdue is the most likely team to win the national title. The Boilermakers were the preseason favorite, but five home losses have lowered the hype on them. Purdue's No. 1-rated offense, led by Braden Smith, is a force to be reckoned with and will keep them in the game against anyone. The Boilers have the size, shooting, and depth to win it all. Defense has been a question mark at times, but opponents have had unreal shooting luck, especially at Mackey Arena. If Purdue can get past Arizona, I think they've got a real chance of winning it all. 🚂

If Purdue and MSU are super close as many seem to think, at some point the head to head has to matter. MSU won in their building. MSU finished 3rd in the Big Ten. Purdue finished 7th. History has also shown us that the BTT doesn’t factor in that much.
