@Benefitstheband One of the main probs we have in our main gig town (Bham) is that the small venues are not in the heart of the city; nearly all of them are in outlying areas and getting to and from is a pain in the arse. And sadly it does affect some gigs I'd otherwise make the effort for.

Just watched a video where owners of small music venues in the UK were talking about the problems they’re facing rn. Poor advance sales, big costs etc. But I’m interested to know why YOU aren’t regularly going to gigs in grassroots venues? Whats the reasons?
