OFDO's plot is too complex and worthy of attention and reflection to focus on why not everyone is kissing everyone, really. I understand that y'all want to find it entertaining and fun, but that doesn't make it a bad series.
And Ofdo owes nothing to the past series.

Watching OFDO, I'm also trying to be objective myself. I'm not saying they're all pure and innocent. I think they're very "human" with all their ambitions, interests, and motivations. I'm just trying to understand their motives

People say Jack is manipulative or indecisive, I think he's just trying to be objective here. It's a tough call for a Director and he has to compromise his idealism too or they won't get to perform at all #OnlyFriendsDreamOnEP5

but yeah despite understanding why Jack had no better choice and did the best he could given his situation, I really hope he does something great for Dean soon, at least to understand why he was so upset by the idea of Dean not asking him for help.
