A reasonably decent cash it to start the day. 🤭💰

Okay, last one unless any live bets appeal. Just a few tidbits. Lots of formidable wingers in action today, but all with horrible FTS prices. I just had the idea to put the three of them in a trixie. Also, the BYO market on SportsBet for a player to score the first two tries.

And would you look at that.
Elijah Hollands suffered a mental health episode last night. Not substance abuse.
I hope every keyboard warrior who assumed otherwise and abused him takes a long hard look at themselves.
Hoping he gets better soon 💙

I actually can't get over this post. Writing like he's concerned but we all now this pervert is trying to create a story

Elijah Hollands is unfortunately one of the biggest stories of the night. Carlton will need to lean into the welfare component, but also offer some sort of explanation to its fans. 60% game time & 0 disposals. @1116sen @7AFL

One of the worst posts you'll ever see from someone in the media who was previously cancelled.

The AFL spoke to Jason Johnson yesterday to emphasise that there cannot be a repeat of what happened in the Zak Butters case - where the former Bomber started driving his car midway through the hearing.
Johnson maintains his switch at the pointy end of the tribunal from desktop computer to hands-free call while driving didn’t impact his ability to assess evidence. But - also conceded to the league that he knew it was the wrong thing to do.
Johnson will still be available to be a tribunal panellist in the future.
Butters’ appeal will take place at 5pm on Monday night. @7AFL @7NewsMelbourne

🚨 Thierry Henry on the chaotic Champions League thriller between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, Camavinga’s red card, and Michael Olise’s stoppage-time dagger:
“Listen, Madrid fans are going to flood social media crying about the referee. They will say Camavinga’s second yellow was a disgrace, that it was too soft for a Champions League quarter-final, and that the officials were biased against them. But you have to understand, when you are playing away at the Allianz Arena, you do not give the referee a single reason to make a decision. You have to be smarter than that.
But beyond the controversy, we have to appreciate the football. What a game. You see Madrid completely destroying them in the first half with Güler and Mbappé, and everyone sitting at home thinks the Remontada is already complete. Then Bayern comes out in the second half, uses the man advantage, and turns the pitch into a washing machine. They completely suffocated them. And that finish from Michael Olise in stoppage time to make it 5 for Bayern and absolutely bury the tie? What a goal. To show that level of ice-cold composure against Real Madrid in the 94th minute is special. Madrid thought they were the undisputed kings of the comeback, but tonight, Bayern gave them a brutal taste of their own medicine.”

@borris_k @tommorris32 devil's advocate for a sec here, and let me be clear in no way am i supportive of nick foot. but if the case was found in butters' favour then they'd still be believing one over the other yes?
English

@tommorris32 It doesn't matter how adamant he was or even if he was right. It was his word against the players word, with no evidence. You can't believe one over another

The AFL Umpires Association has thrown its support behind Nick Foot, who re-shared the post on his Instagram story with the tag line: ‘Happy community umpiring week.’
Fresh allegation: “Nick Foot was subject to multiple pointed criticisms of his character when he did not engage with Zak Butters at the conclusion of the game.” 👇
