@LNRailway Ben from your social media team did. Look at the tweets that this conversation is a reply to. I’m still at Euston as the train which is now fast to Runcorn is not the correct one to take to get to Tamworth.
@rdevz Okay, are you able to drop me a DM with your ticket so I can make sure it is valid on the Avanti service and let me know who advised you of this? Thank you. ^GST twitter.com/messages/compo…
@LNRailway Hi - I’m booked on the 18:46 Euston to Tamworth, which is stopping short at Rugby. Has ticket acceptance with Avanti (so I can get the 19:07 from Euston) been arranged?
@LNRailway No. I was meant to be on the 18:46 EUS-TAM, but was advised to get the 19:07 Avanti service as the 18:46 is stopping short at Rugby. The 19:07 EUS-TAM is no longer stopping at Tamworth.
@LNRailway Perhaps that should be mentioned to your conductors before they start issuing penalty fares incorrectly?
I have an off peak, so no skin off my nose either way.

@LNRailway At some point - probably fairly soon - you’re going to risk passengers deciding that they’re done with sitting around on a train with no heating and detraining. Especially as we can see the platforms at Rugby from the train. That would be a safety nightmare.
@rdevz Hello, unfortunately there is a fault with the service I do apologise. We are aware and are actively trying to get this fixed as soon as possible. ^GST
@LNRailway I’m on 1U47, coach 3. The on-board announcements don’t seem to have been sounding since at least Milton Keynes Central. Could you get maintenance to investigate please?
@LNRailway Also, just a thought - the regulation No 1371/2007 on rail passengers' rights and obligations (which still applies post-Brexit) applies here, and in the event of a delay of 60 minutes or more, you’re obliged to reroute passengers.
@LNRailway You’ve cancelled a service that’s normally crush loaded and recommended that I get a train an hour later that’s normally crush loaded. There’s going to be people 2 hours delayed as a result of this.
@rdevz Hello, yes this train is stopping at Purley this evening. We will get in touch with the driver regarding the on board announcements. Apologies for any confusion caused! ^Liv
@SouthernRailUK Is 1F68 stopping at Purley this evening? The signs at Clapham Junction said yes; the on-board announcements and Real Time Trains say no.
@LNRailway Once again there is crush loading on the 1746 EUS-CRE service. The evening peak trains on this route are regularly full to the point where people can’t get on - why isn’t provision made for more passenger space on this route?
@SouthernRailUK Could you justify cancelling the stops on 1R52 between East Croydon and Reigate after the train has departed? Doing this on a 2TPH service is really inconvenient.
@LNRailway How did the 17:46 Euston-Crewe manage to end up with no working toilets? This is ridiculous. There’s supposed to be four on the train. One being out of service I can understand; this just reeks of a lack of maintenance…
@LondonWaterloo Hi - I just witnessed a scaffolding fixing fall about 15 meters from the roof onto a public concourse between Black Sheep Coffee and Sainsbury’s. It landed 3 meters from me. Had someone been standing under it at the time, it could have caused a serious injury…
