Oh dear. I’ve rather put my foot in it. In a column I wrote about Meghan, I made a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones and this has gone down badly with a great many people. I’m horrified to have caused so much hurt and I shall be more careful in future.

@timidtricky @mrjamesob (1/2) I also have a deep dislike for Ferrari, but suggesting that LBC sack him smacks of deplatforming and denying his - or even THE - right to free speech. LBC's presenters represent a range of political perspectives - if you REALLY don't like Ferrari's, don't listen to him ..

My youngest and I chatting earlier. He describes his day as emotional. I ask why. One friend has both parents with terminal cancer diagnosis. Another classmate was forcibly removed from his mother's care to live with his father. They are 13yo. 💔
