A new chapter for global health! Today, in partnership with @ughe_org, @INES_Ruhengeri, and @AarhusUni #Denmark, we officially launched the Global Health Hub in #Kigali through a strategic quadripartite partnership. This hub will serve as a powerful platform for advancing collaborative research, academic exchange, innovation, and policy engagement while strengthening health systems in Rwanda and beyond. By bringing together local and global expertise, the initiative positions Kigali as a growing center for knowledge, solutions, and impact in global health.

Today, we stood in solidarity with the @UNRwanda family in Rwanda to mark #Kwibuka32, honoring the lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Together, we remembered, reflected and reaffirmed our shared responsibility to stand against hatred, division, and injustice.

KWIBUKA 32: REMEMBER, UNITE, RENEW At the UR Huye Memorial Site, where the community has returned after the Walk to Remember, 563 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi are laid to rest. Among them, 429 are known — each name inscribed on the memorial wall, a lasting testament to lives remembered. Remember. Unite. Renew.

From the youngest generation to our elders. They walked in silence and in solidarity to ensure the light of remembrance continues to shine.
