My roadmap to PS6: - Cancel PS Plus. ✅ - Buy second hand physical games. ✅ - Once played, sell those games and use the money to buy other physical games I want to play. - In late 2027, sell the PS5 and migrate to Steam. - Buy a steamdeck. - Buy a Nintendo Switch 2.

Now lets fight for real digital ownership, if we don’t have physical game copies anymore we should be able to trade, sell or gift our digital copies as we please

@idonotexistelol Yeah, done that for years. Go to eBay and search for "Xbox VPN"; you can buy games or multiple games in a pack for a fraction of the price. Most are special editions and/or include DLC. i used to use CDKeys/Loaded but they went downhill

PlayStation is ending production of physical game discs for all new games, starting January 2028. From that date, new games will be available in digital formats only.

@eliqwx @LeanandCuisine Yeah I agree with this. Anything competitive is a straight no go with the Portal. I got mine and have been playing through the RE Games. So far played RE2R,RE3R,RE4R and currently on RE7. Its been flawless the entire time.

@LeanandCuisine shooters are pretty much the only thing thats unplayable for me on there because of the delay. story, rpg, and sports games have been the easiest to adjust to as far as the latency

@GWPassionate @PeterP_1985 @HowLongToBeat Everyone did at 1 point, then people started complaining the gameplay-to-cost ratio wasn't enough. Since then, they've been pumping out 100 hr+ games. It's so hard to commit to most games now when they're going to take 6 months to complete.

@comfypari Just checked. Sainsbury's is a straight rip-off. £4.25 for the mango and £7.50 for the 2 ready meals. I'd suggest going literally anywhere else; you'd get it for 1/3 of that.
