In our 3rd week with Tech Ambassadors, we visited Maungatapu to work with Yr 3 students. We explored camera, Keynote, and Clips, going on a photo walk for name & colour collages. Using iPads, we showcased our learning in Keynote & added it to our video journals on Clips. #ADE2023

Yesterday, Andrew and I tested our Beach Education lesson with the staff. We combined conversation, observation, and technology. We used iPads and #Keynote to create interactive slides for learners to reinforce their understanding. We wrapped it up with a fun Blooket activity.

Today, I used translation apps to assist my international students. This helped them better understand, reduced stress, ensured fairness, expanded vocabulary, boosted confidence, promote language growth, & allowed personalised assessment while focusing on language proficiency.

In today’s Digi Bites session, we dived into the Apple Teacher portfolio’s “explore” lens. Our focus was on StopMotion animations—a hands-on delight that teachers truly enjoyed. What’s more, #StopMotion has proved to be a versatile tool suitable for all year levels. #ADE2023

Sketchnoting is a fun an engaging way to recount about the school holidays! Students use Keynote to draw all the key parts of their break & present it in a unique way. Students use a variation of sizes to express their highlights, as well as add their Memoji to stamp their work.

Another experiment off the back of #ADE2023- turning a skybox from @BlockadeLabs into a sketch in #Keynote (because tracing isn’t cheating) and animating builds of the image + sketch…before throwing it into @vrty_io to view in VR! Here’s the process and outcome. So much fun!

A quick unused #Battlemania tip- you can add photos into #Translate to translate the text, then save or send the translated image. Great for translating docs etc on the go to share with others in their first language #ADE2023
