@RonBabylon @SpeedUpdates1 i thought this was a good debate but you ruined it by turning it into something ignorant and racist. that usually happens when someone has no more valid arguments left to make. also, poverty & dirty ppl exists all over the world, not just in the places the media singles out.

@re3msicle @SpeedUpdates1 I said was the first DREADLOCKS 🤣. You don't read?
I already provided the sources from the 1970s above. But you rather to a coolie in a BLACK POWER MOVEMENT 🤦♂️.
But yes, Hindus begun Rastafari. Yes very cleanly. Just like them. Of course.

@RonBabylon @SpeedUpdates1 this man is born in 1925. if he’s the first rasta and the Indians arrived in Jamaica in the 1800’s then that would mean what? the Rastafarian culture started in 1930 and became more prevalent in 1940 when he started a movement. so you do the maths sir.

@re3msicle @SpeedUpdates1 Any dred can get up and chat fuckry. White and coolie people included. But the facts are there as I provided. Not from a "YouTube Search", but from Jamaican researchers who spoke with the original Ras like Bongo Wato - one of the first Ras to grow locks.

@RonBabylon @SpeedUpdates1 anybody can rewrite history so that proves nothing. when you have actual rasta’s speaking on the history of it, that holds more weight to me than a google search.
English

@re3msicle @SpeedUpdates1 Indians have little influence on Jamaican culture - Rastafari especially.

@miagetscrazy @SpeedUpdates1 nasty for saying it’s nice to see Indians being credited for things that black Caribbean people get credited for and bamboozled society into thinking they started??

English

@re3msicle @SpeedUpdates1 This is very nice nasty. This type of attitude is why ppl ignore any type of contribution yall MAY have had.

@YaniqueJLambert do you know how lucky you are to be able to walk along the streets and buy fresh local fruits, coconut water, meat, fish, art or whatever your heart desires without feeding into large corporations??
i would trade that for a likkle bit of side walk any day of the week.
