If we have voted for a PM who has a degree in political science & who continues to steer the country forward despite challenges like COVID 19, the Russia Ukraine war, Trump trade sanctions, and the global oil crisis, then it stands to reason that our choice is right. This year, there’s another reason to celebrate: the inauguration today of the ‘Missing Link,’ a remarkable network of bridges and tunnels that finally makes the Mumbai–Pune journey seamless. As I turn 71, it feels fitting to reflect on the ‘missing links’ in our own lives…the people and bonds that have been our unseen support, our emotional bridges through difficult times. And the importance of rebuilding those links, and expressing our gratitude. Today, my wish for each of you, is that you can reconnect your own missing links, those bridges that quietly held you up when you needed them most.

Dearest @AshwiniVaishnaw ji, Why should a RAC passenger bear full charge for 50% of a side lower seat? Isn't it unfair? Once the chart is prepared, Railways must refund 50% of the fare with interest for RAC passengers. The same source of payment can be used for the refund. Pls implement this immediately. I see many ladies and senior citizens who travel by RAC, without sleep and they pay full charge. If any of you reading this feel that this should be implemented immediately, comment with your thoughts and share until Railways makes it a fair deal for passengers. This is long long overdue. Since the Mahindra Armada, our first hard-top SUV, first rolled out, I’ve never driven any other car brand. (Before the Armada, I had a Hindustan Motors Contessa!) And although today I use the XEV 9e, the most advanced vehicle Mahindra has ever built, I can honestly say that the car I would STILL choose to personally drive is the Bolero. Its ruggedness and simplicity make it the ultimate, old-school road warrior. I self-drove my Bolero, nicknamed the “Black Beast,” extensively before the Scorpio was even launched. And now, the Beast is back. The same recognisable silhouette, but reborn in an updated 2025 avatar. After the Wagon R, it’s the oldest Indian car brand in continuous production, ever since its launch in 2000. Just a month older than the Alto. Over the years, successive Mahindra Auto teams have debated phasing it out, but it has always refused to say goodbye. It keeps evolving, adapting, and marching to the beat of its own drum.
