We couldn't be more impressed with @readbystephanie. Who else could turn a concept like voice into charts, graphs and actionable steps? Loved the comments, the community, and the class. Thank you Stephanie!! @MSWLMA

@readbystephanie I spent yesterday catching up on podcasts and after listening to you speak about this on @MSWLMA I immediately signed up! Very excited 😆

@SarahMackieBook Hey Sarah! This sounds interesting. Please do query me! Details here: psliterary.com/submissions/

@readbystephanie Hey Stephanie, I have a mid-grade fiction about a girl with entrepreneurial goals & a strong STEM element based in a close-knit London suburb - are you interested?
English

@sabinapost Quite sincerely, thank you. I did not know that and won't be using that wording again. The last thing I want to do is alienate or offend.
English

@readbystephanie I mean this in a helpful way, because I'm glad you want disabled characters. "Differently-abled" is an offensive term and won't encourage disabled writers to submit to you. You should also be on the lookout for writers who use this term in a query, as it's probably not OV.

@PSLiterary @readbystephanie would also read.
also ballet/dance company or non-musical theater. so many possibilities for drama.

“I’d love to read some vibrant, Broadway/West End musical fiction. Give me glamour and behind-the-scenes action. Interesting, dramatic, but contemporary and upmarket.” @readbystephanie #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

@mmdaviesostrom Oh ouch. Well, noms make a memory I suppose. 😂
English

@readbystephanie I know, right? The sacrilege of it!
I was rereading my daughter's Wings of Fire graphic novels and he completely nommed the back cover of the 3rd. I felt so bad, because we always tell her to be careful with our books, and then this happens to hers on my watch.
English

@LaylaHersch Nope, you are all set! You've mentioned DVpit in the content of your email. 😊
English

@readbystephanie 🤣One of ours will attack any book left unattended on the bed. So many good books with chew marks on the cover.
English

@readbystephanie I do 90% of my agenting work with a 65lb puppy in my lap, and anyone who pictures me otherwise is getting an inaccurate image 😅
English

@mmdaviesostrom I love it.
Our cat tries to rub his head against the phone/book so he is impossible to ignore lol.
English

@readbystephanie Exactly! My arms hurt, my hands cramp, I toss and turn trying to find the rest-my-arms vs line-of-sight sweet spot...and just when I've gotten comfy, the cat comes and sits on my chest.
"You are not see-through!" is the readers battle cry, in our house.
English

@mmdaviesostrom Ouch! Right? I feel perhaps because there's more purchase to a large book. But then your arms hurt. 🤷
English

@readbystephanie This. The number of times I've dropped my kindle on my face...
I don't know why tech is so much harder to hold onto than a normal book.
English

@jbqadri This sounds like something I'd want to see in my query box. See the link below for submission guidelines.🙂 psliterary.com/submissions/

@readbystephanie Hi! I live with bipolar disorder and I've written an illustrated book on managing mental health issues. Would you be interested?
