This girl on TikTok said: If I buy a window seat on a plane and your child is sitting in my seat when I get there, please don’t expect me to “let them have it” cause they’re crying. Get your child out my seat. You should have purchased a window seat for them. You can never make me feel bad for feeling entitled to the seat I purchased.

@KeruboSk Correct no confusion. A fully formed plan that only included you when you showed up. Beautifully spoken.

I once booked an aisle seat on a flight because I like being able to get up without climbing over people. Simple. Intentional. Paid for. I get there and someone’s already in my seat, sitting all comfortable next to their friend like they planned it that way. I pause, double-check my ticket, then politely tell them that’s my seat. They hit me with, “oh… would you mind switching so we can sit together?” Now mind you… this wasn’t confusion. This was a fully formed plan that just didn’t include me until I showed up. I just looked at them for a second and said, “I booked this seat on purpose.” Because let’s be real… that’s not my problem. That’s a problem that should’ve been solved during booking. Respectfully.

BA.3.2, a highly mutated new SARS-CoV-2 variant, is currently circulating in at least 23 countries. BA.3 nearly disappeared in 2022, and since then most of the dominant SARS-CoV-2 variants descended from JN.1. This implies that BA.3.2 re-emerged after significant evolution through heavy mutations in immunocompromised individuals over several years. Accordingly, BA.3.2 is better able to escape immunity from vaccines or prior infections, and this new variant is spreading faster than published data indicate, although no one cares.

@KarlMagnonMan @Mikeggibbs Can the courts overturn this new law? Can they force the premier to follow their previous rulings? Where is the accountability and do the people of Ontario care?

@Mikeggibbs Oh no, Mike. His government issued phone sits UNUSED as he knew it was susceptible to FOI requests. That’s why he DELIBERATELY & WILLFULLY attempted to sideline it by using his personal device for govt business. He has been court ordered TWICE (from a lost appeal) to produce it.

I hope no one needs an MRI this year. The world's largest producer of liquified helium is in Qatar and is shut off. We just got a notice that our supply for the year will be at least cut in half. No one could have predicted this (unless they thought about it).

Cuba is experiencing nationwide blackouts, and clinicians have requested N95s. I will donate a dollar for every RT this gets in the next hour. MAKE ME PAY. James is organizing a fundraiser. Venmo: James-Ray-24

If anyone wants to help I spent a few hours talking to medical students in Havana today who work at a hospital who said they need N95s or equivalents desperately. I’ve already worked with someone to secure 5,000 masks but 40,000 supplies their entire hospital staff for a year.

@1goodtern @19joho Eugenics policy saves the governments money on pension and healthcare. They don't want to spend any money now to clean the air or have those who are sick stay home and stop circulating, if you will pay the price later with your health (quietly living sick or shorter lives

Jonathan Howard was right. They want you infected. I now that sounds dramatic and loony, but it's what they want. They want you to keep catching everything that's circulating. @19joho

@ann_mcnitt IMO many people think they are doing everything they can but then they come home and have no mitigations at home and are exposed to whatever their household members who take no mitigations have brought in.They forget logic and realize when they unmask they assume all that risk

Aerosols. Aerosols. Aerosols. Aerosols. Aerosols. Aerosols. Covid. Meningitis. N95s, HEPA filtration, and vaccination all save lives. Stop sharing air with people who don't live with you.

@Dan_Wyke Until they realize it's cheaper to clean the air it's unlikely they will make that move. People pay the price living sicker shorter lives. The government saves money on Health Care and pensions.

It would have been a whole lot easier - and ultimately cheaper for the government - if they had installed air purifiers in schools and hospitals and other public buildings.

@BeckerLabCRTD @airspothealth Daughter now does online school. She did not go back after the confiscation. We battled for 2 yrs with school and they insisted they were following the guidelines. If it had been law we would have challenged it in court.

@JeffreyLuscombe Apparently budgets are being slashed teachers will have to pay for everything with that card.A teacher friend told me some elementary school teachers already have to pay for the brown paper towels out of their budget. They ask kids to bring in school supplies and boxes of tissues

@CaitTzar @HollyMars2 The masks also help prevent less infections for the daughter herself. Keep masking keep cutting the infections for both you and her. It's not perfect but it's better than more infections

@HollyMars2 She may be suffering but she may also suffer later in life if she figures out that she brought home an infection that ended your life. I know it's a possibility versus the reality but it's possible she's better off with the current course of action, when both options are terrible

I don’t know if I can keep on expecting my daughter, now 6, to mask. It’s not that I’m doing better. I’m doing terrible. Every day, at various times, I don’t want to go on. But truly no one is masking where I live and I think she is suffering.

@HollyMars2 It is effective you are preventing some sickness and transmission. De masking means putting you at the same risk for every exposure she is at.

It’s also not effective when she’s the only one masking at school, and she still gets sick from almost every wave. Please don’t bring up homeschooling. My partner is against it, and I’m too sick, looking at more surgeries to come.
