Dear god, this is a hell of a book. A delicately-handled, lyrical exploration of divorce, recovery of self and fierce maternal devotion. The pages almost glow with @CaroGilesWrites love for her daughters and the natural world they inhabit together. And curlews. Lots of curlews.
