@bentleyammers @WallStreetApes It doesn't matter who you vote for. You can't blame it on any Party or one or more politicians. This thing has a life and momentum of its own. Nothing or no one can stop it.

The government is preparing to seize homes and land using eminent domain for the construction of a Data Center in Coweta County, Georgia This American’s childhood home is being “taken by force by Georgia Power. Homeowners in this county do not have a choice” It affects over 330 private properties. Georgia Power says it will negotiate purchases and easements and use eminent domain Georgia Power claims its to strengthen the grid for the growing energy demand in Georgia (due to many new data centers) The lines are widely linked to Project Sail, a massive proposed hyperscale data center campus that will span 829 acres

Take the money, move the house (the whole structure), or renegotiate with the government and lease the land so you get paid yearly for its' use. You wanted American dominance, you wanted lower prices for energy, you wanted life easier, but now you balk when they start laying out plans because it directly effects you? My dude, NIMBYism much?

You want there to be one Catholic Church because that's where you are at, apparently. That's fine. Millions are in that position. There's a lot of momentum behind that story after nearly 2000 years. I'm just looking at the Word and interpreting, not through rose colored glasses, but yeah, I guess through reformed eyes. Is there more than one scripture that can purport to support the absolute authority of The Catholic Church? I honestly don't know. I'm asking to better understand.

@readjude25 @CardboardRosa @David_wthebeard You think & you are wrong. There is one true Church, the Catholic Church. The Church IS the Body of Christ, instituted by Christ. Your mind cannot handle history. That is a personal problem. But I can see why, every month there are 30 more protestant faiths invented. +JMJ+

I think you mean catholic, as in universal church, which would be the Body of Christ, believers wherever they may be? My mind cannot handle the ‘simple’ concept of one ‘denomination’ claiming some sort of special dispensation and following some made up chain of command from Peter himself. There is no biblical foundation for this. Jesus was not pointing at Peter when he said “and upon this rock”, He was pointing to the personal revelation that Peter received in referencing how the church would be built and stand. It’s based on each of our personal revelation and belief in Jesus, not a man-made system of imagined authority. 🙂

The other day, @JeremyDBoreing had an episode where he explained @TuckerCarlson’s tactics. One of them was Epistemic Closure in which Tucker signals that a question has been settled (to convince the audience) when it hasn’t. He uses phrases like “this is well known” (as he did in this clip)…and then he can’t support it. Watch him set up his claim as if it’s common knowledge and then not be able to provide a single example: Tucker: “JD is subject to…this is well known…NONSTOP treachery from ppl on the neoconservative side around Marco Rubio.” Lulu: “Who do you mean specifically?” Tucker: “You know…I don’t know is the real answer…They were so mad about JD getting that job.” Lulu: “They- who’s they?” Tucker: “You know, I don’t know the answer to that. I’ve never worked there.”

Deuteronomy describes Yahweh's coming like the sun, radiating forth. This theme of divine radiance climaxes with Jesus' return, a concept echoed by Jesus, Paul, Peter, and John. #Theology #BibleProphecy

If a Jehovah's Witness does not believe in the divinity of Christ, evangelicals will generally say they believe in a different Jesus and are not true Christians. If Muslims believe in a Jesus who was not only not divine, but who never even died on the cross, we say they believe in a different Jesus. If a Full Preterist believes that Jesus is not going to restore the kingdom of Israel, will not literally and physically return, and will not literally and physically resurrect our bodies, they also believe in a different Jesus and are not Christians.

@Joel7Richardson Stop propagating doctrines of demons ( 1 Tim 4:1). The Catholic Church is the New Israel-the visible Davidic Kingdom promised in 2 Sam 7, prefigured in Is 22:16–22, and foretold in Dan 2:44–45, fulfilled in Christ (Mt 16:18–19). Catholics are the New chosen race (1 Pet 2:9).

The arrival of the Son of Man will be as unmistakable as the sunrise. Don't mistake the kingdom of God for an invisible, mystical realm. It's not 'within you,' but 'in the midst of you' – all around, undeniable, and in your face. #KingdomOfGod #Faith #Spirituality

Maybe the second is more critical at this point in time. Once can hope the Christians that need to read it, will. Perhaps it would change some hearts and minds.

My parting word on the Trump meme: Many things can be true at the same time. It probably should not have been posted because we are not supposed to put a stumbling block in front of a brother or sister in Christ, and too many Christians are sensitive to such things for these images to be wise or helpful. The image was, however, not blasphemy by any biblical definition. People claiming that it was are mistaking their feelings of being offended for an objective reality that is not supported by any facts. Trump is many things, but ironically enough he is not someone who openly mocks or blasphemes Christ. Actually quite the opposite. At baseline, the meme is a piece of art. It is nebulous, could have many interpretations, and it is a little funny in a tragic, Trumpian kind of way, at least to me. There is a time to take things very seriously and there is a time to lighten up. People will not always agree on when those times might be. Also, here is a picture of Obama being depicted as a suffering Christ figure, and a Newsweek cover using Christological verbiage to describe his second term. Is this all blasphemous? Is it an acceptable use of biblical symbolism and metaphor? Sadly, the social media outrage machine has stopped us from even discussing the core issues and questions here, and from understanding why Americans in particular are so drawn to Christological motifs when depicting and describing our leaders. (Hint: It's not all good. But it's not all bad either.)

The Father may not be... but Jesus (the God-Man) was born Jewish, died Jewish and I would guess likely raised in the same Jewish body. And now he's not? Our race and gender won't be measured in the age to come, but that doesn't change Jesus' heritage. In any case, let's focus on the coming joy. I hope if he IS Jewish, that you don't turn away in disgust.

@Joel7Richardson For me, because I know Him and I've seen how He treats His children, I feel a mix of awe-struck anticipation and fear, because I have an inkling of what being in the presence of His holiness will be like. I'm not afraid of Him - I LOVE Him - but I think we forget how holy He is.

The spacecraft is moving in space (at thousands of miles per hour) where there is a vacuum, no air, no friction, no wind. When the astronaut exists, he is going the same speed as the spacecraft. With no air or friction to slow him down, he just keeps ‘floating’ along with the craft. He may drift away a bit, but uses the jet pack to scoot back to the spacecraft to reenter.
