I often find it surprising how easily lawmakers on both sides of the aisle underestimate the technical effort involved in making system changes or modifying a database. What may appear to be a “small adjustment” at a policy level can involve significant backend work; architecture reviews, data validation, security checks, API dependencies, testing cycles. These aren’t just switches that can be flipped overnight. A better appreciation of the technical and operational realities would go a long way in setting more realistic expectations.

Fossil fuels are 100% imported - adding financial forex stress, supply chain risk, national security risk, and pollution. Solar, wind (and batteries to store) - collects domestic electrons falling out the sky. And 10x cheaper than imported fossil molecules. What's your logic?
