We have a national housing crisis. We’re trying to solve that. The Affordable Housing Infrastructure Tax Credit Act will encourage developers to build more housing units.

Sounds like my colleague had a fuzzy dream where I said he didn’t earn his seat or wasn’t active. Must’ve been some wild out-of-character sleep talk—someone get this man a nap and a copy of the script.

You’re right—I said it’d be interesting to hear debates on federal marijuana legalization. That’s not the same as endorsing it. If you’re serious about a real debate, name the time and place. I’ll be there. Let’s give Americans more than slogans—they deserve substance.

@TimJamesAR If “a say” just means veto power without offering a single concrete idea, then no—it’s not enough. House Republicans wrote a Rules package. You voted no. When asked what you’d change, you had nothing. This isn’t about working together. It’s about stalling.

House Democrats voted against the Rules package—but when asked what exactly they objected to, they had nothing. No specifics. No substance. Just vague demands for "a say." If there's something wrong with it, say so. Otherwise, stop the theatrics.

It is an honor to serve as the House Majority Leader.

Do not voluntarily, willingly, or happily give the government the tools and power to oppress you or curtail your liberty. Ever.
