Americans deserve safe communities and neighborhoods for their families to live in. No one should have to look over their shoulder walking down the street or riding the subway. Those who threaten that safety should face real consequences. A Cincinnati woman named Holly was beaten nearly to death by a repeat offender who never should have been on the streets. The crowd filmed it. No first responders came. The justice system failed her. Her city abandoned her. This single mom got herself home in an Uber. @berniemoreno made Holly a promise. @DJSwearingenOH and @realJeffLaRe are keeping it. Today the Holly Act was just introduced.
