Completed my first #grousegrind today and so glad I didn’t need my new @BC_EHS family to come rescue me! Today was more about maintaining my #mentalhealth than physical and this plaque at the summit reinforced just that! Be sure to make your time to #liveinthemoment

#PinnacleEMS #FireEMS: CAD systems that dispatch based on 'liability' instead of 'appropriate response' lead to ineffeciences that over-triage when we assume everyone is dying until it is proven a call is less acute. Tiered systems are less effective here when it is closest unit.

My last shift on an ambulance in BC. Maybe my last shift ever as a paramedic…time will tell.

I had to do a double (make that triple) take yesterday seeing an @NiagaraEMS ambulance pass by me in downtown Vancouver!! No it wasn’t in service (that would be a seriously long call) but it was an older unit sold off at auction. I do think Rod Serling was driving it though…
