🍣🔥It's official... made it happen Since my first month in NFTs (early 2022) I have held a BAYC ... when I acquired Quirkies in Sept letting go of my Ape was a sacrifice that had to be made I've been waiting for my moment, the right ape, the right price, the right time @mfigge taking over and @AdamWeitsman showing no signs of slowing down... it was time. ETH down is scary but for me it was the opportunity to strike and thanks to @Disciple_13 I got an Ape that I really love. My favorite colors Red and Blue to match my new @pudgypenguins ... favorite trait (Sushi) and 3D glasses imo are one of the best traits across all NFTs Happy to be BAYC.

I LOST MY BELIEF IN CRYPTO. I haven’t posted on X for almost 4 months. NGL I was burned out. Unmotivated. At some point I genuinely started questioning whether the space was worth believing in. Then today happened. I was hosting X space with founders and builders from some of the biggest NFT projects . People running multi million dollar businesses, building massive brands and yet being some of the most humble and down to earth people I’ve met. Different backgrounds, different journeys, different stories but all united by one thing: they genuinely believe in what they are building. Today’s conversation reminded me that success isn’t about speaking perfect English , it is not about where u r from . It is not even about how much u know ab crypto or NFT. U don’t need to be smartest person in the room . What matters is passion. Belief. Consistency. Loving what you do even when things get hard. There is a place for everyone in this space . I’m incredibly proud of the projects that joined today’s convo. They are helping more and more people outside of web3 understand what we r actually building here. They r changing how normies look at NFTs, crypto and the people behind them. I came to the X space with doubts. I left believing in web3 100x more than before . Thank u everyone who shared their stories today. And if there is one thing I’m taking away today , is this: the builders who refuse to give up are the ones who change the future.

Top holders of projects need to be studied… especially the ones who have held for years, including through downturns. Those are the people worth networking with and learning from. Anyone can look smart during a bull market. The real lessons come from the collectors who maintained conviction when sentiment was negative, liquidity dried up, and prices fell. Understanding how they think, what they value, and why they stayed can teach you far more than following the people who are loudest when prices are going up.

A little under the weather but taking some downtime to peruse the Quirklings, the Inx, and of course the OGs @quirkiesnft. Love how the traits flow through all the collections, allowing you to collect that trait in many forms. Super cool. The art is just phenomenal. It makes me feel happy looking at it. This may be the mad ramblings of a fever, but I think I may be partial to the Quirkling art. I don’t know why. Maybe cruise thru the 1/1’s on the Lings….
