Every good fortune the world has - in every of its nook and cranny - can be traced directly to women. In a sense, I consider it a proof of injustice in our world, the fact that women have to demand and campaign for equity.

I want to congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the Presidential primaries of our Party, the All Progressive Congress (APC). I also want to wish him success as he heads to the polls ahead of the 2023 General Elections.

I pray and hope that the survivors, their families, and every other person affected are provided all they require financially and emotionally to survive the psychologically-scarring times and the challenges that have come upon them as a result of this tragedy.

I trust and hope that every necessary resource within the control of the State and Federal government are committed to finding and bringing to justice the barbaric perpetrators of this gruesome act.

Yesterday, the people of Owo local government of Ondo state and by extension; our nation, experienced a very deliberate, heart-wrenching and highly condemnable act of evil that must be condemned by all men and women with a conscience irrespective of their affliations.

Delegates of our great Party, the time is at hand for you to make the decision that would play a part in altering - for better or worse, the future of our great nation and our great Party.
