This year’s Ojude Oba has almost turned into a battle of the brands. Nigerian brand managers seem to have adopted a very lazy approach to placements at public events. They simply print flags, oversized banners and backdrops everywhere just to tick their deliverables. Nothing that connects the audience with the brand in any shape or form. Perhaps Orijin is the only local brand, I will give a pass for now.
