@realadamwarlock I see. What terrible anxiety. If I can, I would like to help by inviting you to trust that you needn't carry these duties alone, and never must you fight alone either. My powers can assist in resting. And while you do so, I will guard in your stead.

@moodswingerbug Indeed. I feel that were I to rest, perhaps an attack would occur, a tragedy I should have been present to prevent. I'm not necessarily tired, not the kind that sleep could fix. I do not know the shape, but it resides in my throat.

@realadamwarlock Hmm...but everyone needs rest. This anxiety...what shape does this feeling take? Do you feel that some duty or another may come up while you are resting that you should be awake to attend to? Or do you sense that some other more unknown thing may occur once you relax?

@moodswingerbug I have been particularly preoccupied with my duties as of late, and I would be lying if I said it wasn't weighing on me and impeding my ability to rest. I feel as though I cannot take the time to rest, as something terrible will happen should I do so

@realadamwarlock A feeling of wrongness and internal rejection of something that seems heavier than the common emotional cycles...hmm...I confess this sounds familiar! Same here! But that is likely coincidence. Have there been any recent notable upheavals and struggles in your life?

@moodswingerbug I do not. Perhaps it is connected to my menstrual cycle, but it does not usually weigh this heavy on me.

@realadamwarlock My, this sounds most relatable and most unpleasant as well! Have you any idea at all what exactly it is that is being rejected? 🤔

@moodswingerbug Ah, thank you, Mantis. I'm unsure of how to describe it. It verges between a physical and psychological ailment. It is as though my body is rejecting something.
