I’ve spent my entire career in healthcare investing, and I mean it with every bone in my body when I say healthcare venture capital is a joke. While there are some notable exceptions, this is an industry overrun with tech-centric SaaS investors LARP’ing around funding anything that smells like whatever tech company returned their last fund. It’s an immense disservice to founders and the patients they serve and someone needs to blow the whole thing up.
