@Zack_Racing Indycar considers 1.5+ superspeedways. They looped Texas and Indianapolis together which is hard to believe

I wish we called dover/nashville/gateway/the rock “intermediates” and call the 1.5s/pocono/michigan the “speedways”

@5tig_ @dabfordale When Indycar raced at tracks such as Texas it raced different than the other ovals currently on the schedule. In fact Texas was often used as the place for a driver to test on a Superspeedway in Indycar besides at Indianapolis

@dabfordale Okay, we can set Indy aside cause it’s different than any other track including all past speedways. You still need to be good at ovals to win the championship

Ovals in IndyCar shouldn’t be what road courses are in NASCAR. Should be the only series in the world where you truly have to master both to be champion.
