LONDON: A 15-year-old boy stunned a London courtroom after refusing to live with every family member the judge suggested claiming his parents, aunt, and grandparents had all beaten him. With no relatives left to place him with, the judge asked who he wanted custody from. The boy calmly replied: “Chelsea FC. They can’t beat anyone.” After checking legal guidelines, the judge granted temporary custody to the team. That’s it, ladies and gentlemen.

Obi/RMK didn't just leave ADC, they also made it unattractive to would be aspirants by citing the legal tussle as their reason for leaving. Who will drop #50m for an ambition that can be truncated by the court. My thoughts and prayers are with Alhaji Atiku, this is too much.

@NkirukaNistoran Especially with Atiku having the advantage of power of incumbent🤣🤣 Atiku won't even get the 25% requirement in 2/3 of the states. The religion card won't work for Obi either, people have seen that the M/M ticket isn't a poison. NC will align with the south.

Congratulations to Atiku in advance. Two Southern in the race and one northerner. That is the advantage. If you think 2027 will be like 2023, think again.

@Big_Sinudo The 2014 merger had a stabiliser in PBAT, a respected figure, no one matches that profile in the present coalition.

Jahmal of Port Harcourt 🦍
When the 2014 coalition was formed: Atiku wanted to be president. Buhari wanted to be president. Rabiu Kwankwaso wanted to be president. Rochas Okorocha wanted to be president. Sam Nda-Isaiah wanted to be president. In this coalition, no one asked the others to step up; northern and southern candidates threw their hat in the ring for the presidential primary in Lagos. In the primary, Buhari (3,430) defeated Atiku (954), Kwankwaso (974), Rochas (624), and Nda-Isaiah (10). It was this result that took Buhari to contest against Jonathan. In light of all these, Atiku did not leave the coalition despite being more educated and qualified than Buhari. He stayed in the coalition and supported the party to victory. I don't know how you will join a coalition and try to bully everyone so that you are the most qualified and don't want a primary election. If these were how the 2014 coalition was formed, it wouldn't be alive to become a ruling party of today.

BREAKING: Senator Aisha Binani has formally dumped the ADC and defected to the NDC to pursue her governorship ambition. Binani, who was the 2023 Adamawa State APC governorship candidate, left the ADC after her faction was sidelined by former SGF Babachir Lawal, who is reportedly supporting former Governor Bindow to get the ADC governorship ticket. Despite multiple meetings by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to resolve the issue, Binani alleged that the resolutions of the meetings were not adhered to by the other faction led by Babachir Lawal. Binani, who is now expected to get the NDC governorship ticket, will challenge the APC and ADC in the forthcoming governorship election in Adamawa State.

There is nothing special about this Arsenal side. They are an elite, well-drilled machine....but every machine has a kill switch. If you want to outplay them, don't play their game. If you want to beat them, don't match their rhythm. Break it. Suffocate their build-up, Saliba or Zubimendi will fold and the whole structure starts to creak. Arteta's system is built on control tempo, spacing, composure. Deny them those three things, and suddenly simple passes become complicated, midfield dominance evaporates, and the errors begin to creep in. Press them relentlessly, press them aggressively but with intelligence. Not reckless chaos.......calculated aggression. Force them into uncomfortable areas, rush their decisions, and make every touch feel heavy. Once they wobble, attack with conviction. Test the goalkeeper repeatedly with shots, quick and early. Even the best eventually crack under sustained pressure. Football, like life, rewards volume. Then comes the inevitable Martinelli switch. Whenever Arsenal need an injection of chaos, he is usually the card Arteta plays. To counter that, you need a right-back with pace, strength, and a touch of controlled violence. Match his speed, dominate the duel, and Arsenal lose one of their most dangerous escape routes. And then, of course, the set pieces. Arsenal have turned dead balls into an art form. Remove that weapon, and their cutting edge diminishes significantly. No cheap fouls. No needless corners. No invitations. Manchester United demonstrated this perfectly at the Emirates. That result was not fortune......it was tactical execution. Atlético Madrid showed flashes of the same blueprint, particularly in the second half. They disrupted Arsenal, unsettled them, and created the exact kind of chaos Arsenal dislike. Their only crime was failing to land the decisive second blow. And history offers a familiar warning. March to June has often been Arsenal's annual system reboot period when the software starts lagging, the fans start buffering, and the title challenge suddenly needs troubleshooting.

Atlético Madrid and Man Utd are the two teams to record the most shots against Arsenal in a single game this season 😮‍💨 Arsenal didn’t lose either match 🧱
