@flasportsbuzz People saying that he should have been kept solely as DH are missing the point. He’s still a young player that needs defensive development. If the team keeps him as a DH they’re essentially shorting him in his career. If he was 34-35 years old, you keep him as a DH but not now.

Ramirez was getting on base more, but his defense hasn't improved much; his doubles and home runs are way down; his batting average is actually down from '24 (an archaic stat, I know) and he frustrated the team with a few base-running errors.
