Here is how I look at it: It is Infold's own incompetence that opened them up for a smear campaign in the first place. Infold/PPG has a track record for ignoring concerns of the playerbase for a LONG TIME. They've proven time and again that they cater only to their most toxic playbase, and they pretend global doesn't even exist despite clearly wanting global support. They ignore everyone's concerns, botched a 6th LI release, and allow their core gameplay to rot in favor of shiny new multibanners. All players ever wanted from them was acknowledgment, communication, and a solid roadmap of the game's development. All we wanted was to be treated seriously as gamers. This gave Infold's competitors/adversaries/whomever an opening to strike. It's like being hit by a car while crossing the road. Is the driver at fault for speeding or is it your own fault for staring at your phone instead of looking out for traffic? I am not in the least bit surprised that Infold's situation is being taken advantage of, but they would not be in this situation in the first place if they had a better relationship with their PLAYERS from the beginning. Now we see no point in protecting them. I'm not gonna bash them constantly but at the same time, I'm not gonna bat for them, either. My sole focus is on Valko for the sake of his developers because it goes against every fiber of my being to erase art for any reason. Also, Valko is cute and I like wolves. If Infold burns to the ground, it's because they set the kitchen on fire. Competition and bad actors simply brought more oil to the scene.
