We've been building Stacker for 4 years, and by all accounts the site's been successful. millions of monthly visits, strong organic, no paid, etc. But that only generates enough revenue for a handful of FTEs. If we'd been dependent on that model for growth we'd have been DOA.

Met with @achaloeicheep for my first ever branding exercise.. 3 hours, 3 realizations: 1) Brand doesn't just happen. You cannot leave to chance 2) Slight changes in perception = massive changes in biz outcomes 3) Best question they asked... "What channels are/aren't working? Why"

Update/False Alarm: do not actually have new licenses yet....
