@StrikerHLTVorg Good catch! If we take another example, the HLTV simulator also runs in to some trouble.

We've seen some feedback that the HLTV simulator deviates from both majors.im and BLAST's ones for the alternate universe where FlyQuest had won against Nemiga. As far as I can tell, ours followed the right order, while majors.im seemingly follows the old logic before the priority came into place, and BLAST's skipped the possible row 5 and went to row 6 of the priority table for reasons I can't see. Happy to be proven wrong in case there's something we do need to fix, so method and priority table below:

I never do business shout outs but I’ll make an exception. @skinledger is a phenomenal piece of software. If you do any kind of CS bulk trading / selling on steam market / CS trading generally, this is a top tier product that you should be taking advantage of.

@HermoooCS @roflm0nster @skinledger Just like with Casemove, which has been downloaded over 130.000 times, you can't get VAC banned from using Skinledger. The software never connects to a VAC secured server so there's no risk to your account.

A massive banwave has just hit some of the biggest @CounterStrike cheats on the market, one of which was recently interviewed by @cybershoke. It is speculated that this was possibly linked to a feature detection. clip was sent to me by @future3176

@_weichi @tiimotiimotiimo @Tea__With__Milk People got their account locked because they used a VPN on steam. Doesn't matter if you login with Casemove, the regular steam client or on the web. It's part of the new anti-scam initiatives by Valve.

@cantryde But you should still be able to check the status of a specific trade, so P2P should still be okay I suppose?

Update. Seems like the API call to check pending trades also got removed. So there will be impact to P2P markets.

The 10 day item invisibility is still very confusing. I will try to investigate later when it's actually enabled. But for P2P markets which use your apikey there should be no impact.

@zipelCS @Mauisnake Exactly. I've always disliked when people blame skins as a whole. These gambling sites shouldn't be allowed to exist, and hopefully this will make Valve take action against them. Without the skins economy the game wouldn't be where it is today and neither would the esports scene.

There’s teams still competing that wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t for skins, countless jobs, all the development that allowed the game to get to this stage, prize money, sticker money, probably your job too. I actually think the “skins” community is a wonderful and unique place. The worst thing to happen to not just counter strike but a lot of other industries is how easy it is to run unregulated, shady websites and how normal it’s become for organisation whether it be teams, forums, creators to promote them. The scene is obviously heavily underfunded which is the sad reality and why many organisations end up deciding between going bankrupt or accepting a questionable sponsorship. Yesterdays event wasn’t about skins. The tournament hosted by the people behind yesterdays event is a good example of how they’re easily allowed in the scene despite their disruptive behaviour but when bad shit happens everyone’s shocked and takes distance. Allowing unregulated sites with a history of shady behaviour to be part of the professional scene whether it be teams or hltv or tournament organisers is the worst thing to ever happen to counter strike. Sadly, for now they’re a monumental driving force behind most of the scenes funding.
