In a year full of blowouts, Arizona is the hardest team to kill off. They are in every game till the final whistle.

How about this: The Big 12 is a GREAT basketball conference for Arizona (the ideal, really). But playing OSU & WSU wasn't the reason 1-seed Arizona lost to Wisconsin in OT in the Elite Eight with TJ McConnell and Aaron Gordon

As it turns out, all it took for Arizona to get back to the Final Four was leaving the Pac-12. No more playing the Washington State’s and Oregon State’s of the college basketball world. Playing in the Big 12 elevated the program to where it needed to be.
