@gonefishin1948 Appealing to Grace while denying your responsibility to respond to God's actions is rather silly. Such does not a relationship make.

@realstarstripes "Faith alone" excludes Grace. We aren't saved by what we do or think or feel. All of those are responses to GRACE!

The protestants and evangelicals don’t want you to know this, but the only time the phrase "faith alone" appears in the Bible is in James 2:24, where it is explicitly rejected: "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone".

These aren’t deranged liberals. They are normalized revolutionaries. We normalized revolutionary thinking. These normalized revolutionaries have jobs, advanced degrees, teaching credentials, mortgages and responsibilities. This isn’t hard to grasp.

🇺🇸 Another deranged liberal openly disappointed Trump wasn’t assassinated. These people are actually upset he survived. What the hell is wrong with them?

@ericweinstein I voted for Trump 3 times and now I just want him in jail. I'm not ok with destroying an ancient civilization and crashing the world economy for a foreign country.

I see no conflict between my identity as a Roman Catholic and an American. However if it came down to it my identity as a Catholic trumps the American identity every single time and it’s not even close.

@TheStaad You do need teaching. You're biased. It is clear from your commentary. Do as you please but you're not very learned about many subjects.

@ThomBradley8 @DavidCritz @prayandfast2 Paul very clearly referenced the "church" in the wilderness. Something Peter never would. Peter was too caught up in what he was taught. It is why Peter didn't embrace the Grecians or try evangelize Gentiles for over a decade. Even though Christ told him to "feed his sheep". Read

@DavidCritz @prayandfast2 So are you. There's no evidence for your claim. The Catholic Church began in Jerusalem in 33. Not at the council of Nicea in 325. You need to learn some church history.

Protestants focus on God’s wrath and Christ’s penal substitution. That’s why they don’t have crucifixes To a Catholic, the crucifix is the most pure and powerful picture of love that exists That is why we wear them and have them in our homes God is love. He so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son And Scripture is Catholic

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: President Trump just announced he will be EXTENDING the ceasefire in Iran The US Naval blockade WILL continue. “Based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal. I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other. President DONALD J. TRUMP”

The 7 books Protestants removed were in the Greek Canon of Jewish scripture at the time of Jesus & the majority in the early Church followed this canon for the Old Testament. A minority argued for the shorter canon in Hebrew. Jews today use this, but the Rabbis defined this reduced canon after the split between Jews & Christians, so such decisions lacked binding power on Christians. Protestants removed books from the Bible that were almost universally accepted before their time. Note: canon refers to a rule or order, & in the case of Scripture it refers to determining which books are part.

I need to be honest about something I didn’t want to admit before. I regret my vote. I voted believing things would move toward peace, stability, and putting America first again. That’s not what I’m seeing now. Instead, I’m watching the same patterns I was trying to avoid continue — just under a different banner. People are struggling more, not less. Costs are higher, not lower. And foreign involvement hasn’t slowed down the way I expected. This isn’t about personalities anymore for me. It’s about outcomes. And based on what’s actually happening… I can’t defend that decision the way I used to.

I voted for Donald Trump because I believed he was the lesser of two evils. Not because I thought he was perfect — but because I believed the message. No new wars. End the existing ones. Put America First. That was the promise that sold it. But now I’m watching something very different unfold. Conflicts aren’t cooling down — they’re expanding. Money is still flowing overseas in massive amounts. Military aid keeps stretching across multiple fronts. And at home? Prices keep climbing. Families are stretched thin just buying groceries. Veterans are still struggling on the streets. Debt and stress are everywhere you look. So I keep asking the same question: Where did America First go? Because I didn’t vote for global escalation. I didn’t vote for endless foreign spending. I voted for stability at home and peace abroad. And right now… that promise feels further away than ever. That’s why people aren’t just disappointed anymore. They’re questioning everything.

It’s amazing how many people are coming in to the Catholic Church. I am all for it There will come a time yet again, however, when being Catholic will cease to be as fashionable as it seems to be now, and many will once again fall away Start preparing your heart now for those times. Be the one who clings to Christ no matter what

I stand grandly with the Holy @Pontifex. I stand with his call to prayer for peace. Donald Trump is merely a temporary President soon to be a lame duck President. Pope Leo XIV is the Vicar of Christ.

I will never renounce my Catholic faith. It is the foundation of my life, my source of hope, and my ultimate truth. Through every trial and triumph, I stand with Christ and His Church. As an American, it is my constitutional right to worship—it’s called freedom of religion. Catholicism teaches that faith and reason are complementary. Defending the faith demonstrates that Catholic beliefs are not "blind leaps" but are grounded in logic, historical evidence, and divine revelation.
