@reasonistas Really love SideChain ReAction (SCRE), A ShaperBox Like effect device as Rack Extension. Not sure, if this still gets updated. Switchable Envelope would be nice.

@xoonx @LABONERECS Shaperbox has 9 custom envelopes, so C# up to A hotswaps the envelope but only plays 1 at a time. SCRE has 4 envelopes but can play all at same time at different rates.

@reasonistas @LABONERECS With shaperbox, you can switch the sidechain envelope via midi. Sending C#1 switch to Envelope 2 and so on. See: youtube.com/watch?v=l5XMVB… I currently use more than one SideChain ReAction inside a combinator as workaround.

Reason 12.2.9 is out now! It includes a bunch of performance enhancements and bug fixes, especially for those using M1 machines. We've also implemented a silent login system for Reason standalone.

We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Dave Smith the founder of Sequential circuits and father of MIDI. We were not only awed by his accomplishments, but also charmed by his friendliness and graciousness. The synth community has lost one of its finest.
