I’m an older army and on the introvert side (shy really). I went to London D.2 by myself. I had a wonderful experience and it felt absolutely okay to be alone. Wanna do it again as soon as possible. But, I have to say, all this talk about army’s reaching out, nobody around me ->

@kajsan12 I was alone too on both London days and I had a good time with those who sat next to me but yes I was the one who initiated the talking and they continued. If somebody does not respond, you continue talking about yourself and if they are reluctant, stop and move on. That is all

@kajsan12 I’m an introvert too and I know how that feels but one thing I have learned is that us introverts expect others to initiate a conversation, not realising there are barely any people who do without getting smth out of it & others who aren’t that way are just shy like us so

@anemoiadawn Like I follow a story whose writer updates approx 8k chapters almost every weekend and I LOVE IT..every time there is a 1000 more I FALL IN LOVE LIKE THE BEST DAY EVER..so any length excites me..damn not the other one no pun

fic readers, do you ever notice/mind chapter length? like if most chapters are 5k-ish, and then a chapter comes out that's 10k+, are you like "yay, more food!" or "woah. this is a lot. i was expecting a more manageable length"/"i wish the other chapters were this long"/etc
