@recursator @Dankness01 If you put a character like him in any serious movie itd be incomprehensibly panned, idk what to say. There have been good ahabs in movies. The 1956 Moby Dick's ahab is certainly expressive but its not comedic. I swear people give gaming acting and writing like a 2pt handicap.

@_Saigoh If he can face-tank Malevolent Shrine, why can't he survive Yuta's domain? Yuta has things he can do to win, but Infinity is pretty OP.

Shinjuku Yuta is overkill, but Sendai Yuta still wins because he has a domain and Gojo doesn't. It's always just that simple.

If you want to autistically screech that the VA is bad because it's "shakespearean", then that's your perogative. Good for you. The VA is very good, regardless.

@recursator @Dankness01 Im confused, theyre saying "the VA has some of the best in gaming." If you wanna say "the writing and VA work is mid and that doesnt really matter too much" then I agree- FS has always been a gameplay studio (and fun gameplay at that!) but OP is clearly saying otherwise.

@JoeShmo22476157 @Dankness01 Souls games barely have characters, let alone complex characterization. They're not that type of game, and everbody knows this. There's lore, not so much complex writing. And they speak, in full sentences, that convey normal information. Just in an old timey way. GHOSTS.

@recursator @Dankness01 What do you mean by smart? A character who says "wherefore thither wont thou bravest o warrior" is just like, meaningless garbage. Is there no meaningful difference between a shallow aesthetic of mystique vs the real thing? A character telling me theyre wise vs proving it, etc

@Kyoka5uigetsu Powerscaling like this is useless, because if Yuji actually faced off against an opponent like Reggie in a chapter, then he'd pull out whatever power-up he needed to beat him. If he couldn't beat Reggie, then Gege would make him pull out Shrine or BM there.
