I hate the QR code menus for a few reasons 1. Resto's are stupid and put a PDF up there. I don't want to download an unreadable menu I have to fiddle with every time I go there. Make it a mobile friendly website or piss off 2. The phone menu basically kills conversation. I can chat with my wife while looking at a menu. On the phones we ignore each other 3. It's like my wireless connected lights. By the time I load my camera app, scan the code, wait for the menu to load, zoom to what I'm looking for, decide, then look up it's been 5 minutes whereas a menu would have been a 15 second glance and when the waitress sees me looking up knows I'm ready It's technology getting in the way
