I’ve said for a few weeks now that I feel Oliver Glasner’s time as our manger is over. He decided he was going to leave in October, made that news public in January despite the board telling him that it wouldn’t do any good and is now on a run of 1 win in 15 games in all competitions. I’ll always be incredibly grateful for what he has achieved as our manager, the FA Cup win legitimately felt like a life changing moment as a fan back in May of 2025 and still does now but I just don’t believe that he is now getting the best out of the group. Whether it’s just a tiny shift in intensity leading to poor results or something more serious, it now feels obvious that things aren’t going to improve particularly between now and the end of the season. Ultimately, however simplistic or basic it may sound, I believe that the manager of our football club should want to be there for the long haul, not just until his contract runs its course. I understood, in broad terms, the thought process behind not sacking him and allowing his deal to come to an end but it feels untenable from my point of view.

Glasner has to be out of this club by the morning I’m so honest I am 5/5 on European Trips, FA Cup Final and Community Shield I love(d) Oliver Glasner. I love Crystal Palace. I personally, and I’m sure every palace fan, never plans or pays to go abroad and “expect” a win Any self respecting football fan would never “expect” a win, regardless of time, money or suffering put into an away day But. But. This is beyond disappointing.

And somehow after all of those we got better I’m not saying we’ll get better.
