Here’s the new, clean slate build from today’s RB1S Build Session. FineMolds 1/35 IJA Type 2 Ho-I. Not a lot of progress, but it’s a start. Most complex part of this build will be the suspension, and tracks. Replacing the kit barrel with a metal FineMolds one, along with PE muffler heat shields (happen to have Type 1 Chi-He ones that are close enough). Other than this, it’s a straight shot. I’m going to do an SBS, for this project. Focusing more effort on paint, and weathering. Another side note: First time using the new Stedi Tool nippers. Decided to try them out, and for a basic set of single edge nippers, they work really well. We will be back on this project next weekend. Cheers 🍻 ~ Rob

This is a really cool post, coming in from our great friends at 205 Hobbies, in Japan 🇯🇵. It’s a shot of the new Kaiyodo 1/35th LUNA GANS, studio model on display at the Shizuoka show, last week. We believe, that this is Kow Yokoyama (Sensei) work. It bears his signature style, and that alone is a timestamp on the entire Ma.K genre of modelling. We had to repost this 👍😎 Kanpai 🍻 ~ Rob

We have received our brand new 1/48 Hurricane Mk I from Arma Hobby, in Poland 🇵🇱. This is our first Arma Hobby kit, and overall a great experience. The kit itself looks fantastic, and the recommendation(s) we had received, definitely live up to the expectations. Super nice detail, marking options, canopy masks, and their instructions are very well laid out. We may just build this one out of box, or pick up some aftermarket, on the next round with Arma Hobby (they sent us a promo code, for the next order). Now for some RB1S intel drops. We have received our brand new copy of Ostfront Panzers Vol 3, from KV Publishing, in Russia 🇷🇺. Even though it took a while to actually receive it (over a month), the wait is absolutely worth it. If you’re not familiar with the Ostfront Panzer series of photo books, they are very similar to the Panzerwrecks series. In fact, the Panzerwrecks Ostfront books (there are x3) are authored by Vyacheslav Kozitsyn, and design team, have branched out with KV Publishing, with their own series.
