I love the growing interest and seriousness of agriculture in the Eastern Cape. Just got off the Zoom call with community members from eNgcobo discussing agricultural possibilities of the province and their areas. The Eastern Cape government must take agriculture seriously not only in talks but real action. There is not much potential.

The global coffee price has just broken $4/lb—a momentous milestone in my 25+ year journey through coffee. Having predicted this a few years ago, there was a part of me that thought it could never happen.
