i think edtt mix up DISORDERED EATING with actual eds. a lot of restrictive diets are disordered but it doesnt mean u have an eating disorder formally ykwim .

i dont wanna judge edtt converts but you cannot “switch”, “try out” or “fail” an eating disorder because it is a mental illness. if you have depression you can’t decide to stop having it and have bpd instead, so why would that be true for eds? none of us chose this
