DSA electeds need to take a stronger stance against NATO. Especially now that we are running a socialist slate for Congress, we should introduce a resolution at 2027 convention that our electeds must categorically oppose funding for NATO and call for the U.S. to leave

@BadTakeEnjoyer NATO has basically acted as a tool for US imperial intervention since its founding, just in recent decades getting involved in the invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya… It also formed as an explicitly anti-socialist/anti-communist organization

Support for NATO remains relatively high among Dems, but I think this is a contradiction that we can and should put pressure on to drive a dirty break. End U.S. interventionism abroad, slash the military budget, and bring the soldiers home

i’ve got so many replies like this and, the transphobia aside for a moment, i’m fascinated by the underlying logic that how men treat other men is “not the issue of women.” it’s such a strange way to think about and view the world. the way men treat men also impacts women

Of what? What do these men fear? Other men. How are they treated? Like the other men who have committed crime. Not the issue of women. Many of them have committed crimes of violence themselves and many against women. Their pattern of sexual offending is no less than other men. Of 129 men pretending to be women who were in jail 58.9% were convicted of at least one sexual offence. Excluding these pretenders - the percentage of men with sexual offence convictions was 16.8%. Save your tears “sarah” and stop obsessing.
