Mayor Michelle Wu and progressive leaders have pushed the idea that gender affirming care, including puberty blockers and surgeries for young people, saves lives. That claim is not supported by strong evidence. The Cass Review in the UK examined the research and found the evidence for puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones in minors to be weak and of poor quality. Several European countries have since sharply restricted these interventions for young people, moving instead toward therapy that addresses underlying mental health issues rather than rushing into medicalization. I have no issue with adults making their own decisions. However, these procedures should wait until children are fully developed adults who can understand the lifelong consequences.

In the West, that hijab functions exactly like a military uniform — a visible badge of allegiance and commitment to spreading Sharia. It’s not neutral fashion. It’s the outward declaration of loyalty to Islamic supremacism and the gradual replacement of Western law and culture with Sharia.
