@Nxsiabi While I do think the same principle can be applied to him, Byakuya's case is different. He's all abt perfecting restraint over himself; having his own zanpaktuou cut him to protect those he cares abt reflects how much they control his sentiments, not a blade gone awry w pride.

Incredible that in all his battles, minus Renji, Byakuya's blade ends up inflicting some self-injury, and the severity of these wounds intensifies w each fight.

Also nice that his battles go from wishing to protect an ideal to protect a person he cares about. What a softie aww
