日米首脳会談に同席した米国出張からまだ数日ですが、本日よりＧ７外相会合に出席するため、フランスに出張いたします。 パリ近郊で開催される今回の会合では、２日間にわたり、緊迫が続く中東情勢やウクライナ情勢、さらに我が国が重視するインド太平洋地域の情勢、そして経済安全保障など、国際社会が直面する幅広い課題が取り上げられます。 特に、イラン情勢については、日本も含め各国が外交的な取組を進めているところであり、事態の早期沈静化に向けて、Ｇ７でしっかりと議論を行います。その上で、ホルムズ海峡における航行の安全確保やエネルギー安全保障について、連携を確認してまいります。 また、この機会に各国の外相との個別会談も行います。信頼関係を更に深め、連携を強化する機会にしたいと考えています。 ※写真はこれまでのＧ7外相会合
