@ATLiverpool_ Have to say I keep coming back to this too! I still think Edwards, Hughes and even possibly Slot were signed on 3 year contracts to oversee the transition as they needed that many transfer windows to sort it. 2027 their contracts end and they leave?

You simply cannot convince me Slot has been able to fool Wirtz, Ekitike, Isak, Jacquet, Leoni, Kerkez, the plethora of young kids we're signing, and now possibly both Barcola(managed by Enrique btw) and Diomande about the footballing project.
There's clearly a plan they're all buying into, and the club is backing

Virgil will be the last to leave this Klopp team and then it’ll officially be the end.
Imagine how close we feel to that group and now imagine what it’s like for VVD. His best friends for the last 8 years, conquered football with them, kids go to school together & grieved with them.
What’s crazy is, imo he was the final piece in the jigsaw. It all changed after he signed.
