A few artists preach mental health a lot, are genuinely happy to help, will give their fans advice a lot of the time and sometimes not even asked for they’ll just see a fan in need and help them… and we’re still expected to never feel comfortable with any fave to speak to? 😭

@gyjonuts @lightswereon Fr, are we just supposed to bottle it up 😭 therapy works for some and other routes work for others, we don’t decide who we find comfort in especially when the first knowledge that an artist is good to go to is when they just see a fan in need and will offer help out of nowhere

@redrumraaaave @lightswereon exactly. twenty one pilots is another example. they have multiple songs about self harm/suicide and their slogan was “stay alive” for a long time. it makes sense that people would talk to them about that topic.

Forgot to add I met their friends the Darklings when they supported Bambie at the London concert (one of who is the bride here) and they’re so nice so this was so sweet to see. And yeah I’m well aware I look a state I’d just been watergunned during Tsunami 😭
